From our amazing partners: Jarmila M, Arancha Pernas T., Santi M and Montserrat Ansótegui.
"Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country. For example, a student may be assigned and will have to solve global topics such as nuclear non-proliferation or climate change from the policies and perspectives of Germany.
The Position Paper is a one or two-page document that is essentially a summary of your knowledge of the topic and the position your country plans to take when it enters committee. It typically contains four sections: Background of Topic, Past International Actions, Country Policy, and Possible Solutions. Position Papers are usually due before the online conference". Happy to have joined such an amazing project! Looking forward to collaborating with you!
"Water is the most basic need for humanity to survive. There are water problems in many parts of our world, and water shortages await countries in the future. With this project, We aim to raise awareness and sustainability by explaining the importance of water, conscious water consumption, awareness about climate change, all the factors that pollute and waste our water, to our children and our environment from a young age.
Waste of water, pollution, consumption, importance and environmental awareness are the factors that will form the subject of our project".

Today, all around the world there is growing evidence that fake news has the power to shape public opinion but...what happens when fake news spreads? What are potential consequences when fake news goes viral? How can we spot fake news without being fooled? Then, it is important to discuss online safety with our students who might not always be aware of dangers, especially in a world in which a lot of young people are spending more and more time online. This will help them to increase their critical thinking towards online posts and be aware of their own role in the digital world. According to these reasons, we want to: • Analyze the ancient history of fake news (myths and legends) to bring awareness and deep understanding of the issue. • “NETIQUETTE AND INTERNET SECURITY: let’s create a safe space for sharing experiences. • Enhance their critical thinking. • Inform about freedom of expression. • guiding students to reflect on the social consequences of misinformation when believing fake news |
