A group of students visited the National Museum of Contemporary Art and witnessed the innovative interactive project Face Forward ...into my home, supported by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the European Commission's Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid department, and deals with the sensitive issue of the refugee crisis. Bitterness, pain and the fight for survival is portrayed into twenty photographic portraits of twenty people who managed to stay alive and find shelter in our country; their personal narratives were also recorded, as well as the claim to fundamental dictates of humanity, solidarity and optimism.

The students of A class put on a play, one of Shakespeare's most popular tragedies, Romeo and Juliet. It was performed both classically and in parody. John Pavlopoulos (parody) and Bill Protopappas ( classic) played Romeo. Mike Paragios (parody) and Dimitra Stavropoulou (classic) played Juliet. Mary Pantermali was Mercutio and Georgino Ramo was the Nanny. Nasia Pappa, as well as Argiro Samara, Erifili Petrou, Dimitra Sakka, Nikoletta Skiopoulou and George Mavronas gave a helping hand!
The first public school of Aghios Dimitrios, also known as the round school, because of its rather peculiar circular shape, is located in the area of Aghios Dimitrios, Athens, Greece.
It was designed (1969-1972) and constructed (1972-1974) under the supervision of the famous architect Takis Zenetos. Remarkable is the outstanding work of the latter, for hence the unusual, yet excellent design of the building and its flexibility towards educational and technological advances. Takis Zenetos was born in 1926 in a wealthy family. He attended University whilst in France ( University of Architecture Studies) and later travelled to Paris and studied in the Ecole des Beaux Arts. He finished his studies in 1952 and presented his master thesis ( Μικρόπολις- Αυτόνομη Οικιστική Μονάδα). In 1955 he returned to Greece where he started working with Margharitis Apostolidis. He also significantly contributed in the construction of the factories FIX and APCO and in the design of Attica's land use planning, numerous industrial factories and various other buildings of remarkable significance. In 1977, Zenetos committed suicide in the area of Kolonaki. . ( by Kostas Topaloglou and Esmeralda Tousai)
